White Plastic Planter in 12″

Base has multiple drainage holes (6–10) and often a detachable saucer/tray; some include a drainage plug. Weight ∼0.5–1.0 kg empty. Shapes: round tapered nursery style, squat cylinder, square/cubo, or ribbed decorative profiles. Rim is rolled or reinforced for rigidity.

Pros: very light and easy to move even when planted, inexpensive, won’t chip or rust, frost-proof, stackable for storage, retains moisture well. Cons: less breathable than terracotta, can get hot in full sun, may fade/brittle after prolonged UV exposure, large top-heavy plants can tip in wind.

Use: suitable for larger houseplants (monstera, fiddle-leaf fig, rubber plant, bird of paradise), patio shrubs, herbs, vegetables (tomato, chilli), and mixed arrangements. Fits 10–12 in nursery pots. Works on floor, balcony, terrace, or as a liner inside decorative cachepots. Water when top 5–6 cm of soil dries; check that drainage stays clear.
