Moon Cactus — Gymnocalycium mihanovichii (Hibotan/Ruby Ball/Red Cap) grafted on a green rootstock (usually Hylocereus spp., dragon fruit cactus). Native to South America (Paraguay, NE Argentina). Not a single species but a grafted combination: a colorful mutant scion (top) that lacks chlorophyll, fused onto a chlorophyll-rich base that supplies food.
