White Plastic Planter in 10″

Has 4–10 drainage holes (often a grid) in the base; many come with a snap-on or attached saucer. Weight ∼300–600 g empty. Shapes: round tapered, squat cylinder, square “Cubo”, or ribbed “Shera Octa” style. Rim may be rolled for rigidity.

Pros: light and easy to move, inexpensive, durable, frost-proof, stackable, won’t chip. Non-porous so it retains moisture longer than terracotta. Cons: less breathability, can heat up in strong sun, may fade or get brittle over years, and tall top-heavy plants can tip without added weight.

Use: medium-large houseplants (monstera, rubber plant, peace lily, dracaena), herbs, vegetables (tomato, chilli), flowering perennials. Fits 9–10 in nursery pots. Works for floor placement, balconies, patios, or as a liner inside decorative ceramic/cachepots. Water when top 4–5 cm of soil is dry; check that drainage isn’t clogged.
