8-inch (20 cm) ceramic planter — a medium-large pot, typically 7.5–8.5 in (19–22 cm) diameter and 7–9 in (18–23 cm) tall, opening ∼7–8 in (18–20 cm). Volume ∼3–5 L. Usually glazed stoneware or terracotta; heavier and sturdier than smaller sizes.

Product Description

Has a drainage hole (1–1.5 cm) and often includes a matching saucer or attached drip tray. Weight ∼1.5–3 kg empty. Shapes include round, tapered cylinder, urn, square, or wide bowl. Glaze may be matte, glossy, reactive, or textured.

Use: suits mid-size houseplants—monstera deliciosa (young), fiddle-leaf fig (small), rubber plant, peace lily, bird of paradise (young), large ferns, dracaena. Fits 7–8 in nursery pots. Works on floor with a stand, patio, balcony, or as a statement tabletop piece. Water when top 4–5 cm of soil dries; the larger soil volume buffers moisture, so overwatering risk is higher—ensure drainage is clear. Stable and durable, good for top-heavy plants.
